REQUIREMENTS

• In accordance with the California Voting Rights Act, the current Board vacancy must be filled by a registered elector residing within District 4 of the Cayucos Sanitary District Voting Districts. Please view our Interactive Map of Cayucos Sanitary District's Voting Districts or call our office at (805) 995-3290 to confirm your eligibility.   
• The position to be filled is for a term expiring December 4, 2026.

• The due date for all applications is September 7, 2026.

Should it be determined that there are an insufficient number of interested and qualified candidates, the Board may extend the application filing period and defer action to any regularly scheduled or special meeting within the prescribed 60-day appointment period.
